NEXT CHANCE TO JUDDER:

Hey there my Juddering Gents & Ladyfolk,

I don't know about you lot but I'm still feeling the after-effects of Judder's 5th Birthday Party - what a legendary night! So many awesome and ridiculous costumes, such an amazing atmosphere and such kickass tunes! Thanks loads to all of you who made the effort - from the most awesome of costumes to the subtle nods at superheroes, and a big thanks to Gilly & Nik for entering into the spirit of madness & dropping some cracking tunes!

I've been working hard all this week to bring the Judder website up to date with the most extensive addition to our gallery section - I've added FOURTEEN new galleries featuring more than 250 photos and a whole bunch more videos too - thanks to everyone who has allowed me to plunder their archives! Althought the Judder Facebook group is going great guns, I'm going to continue to put them o the Judder site so that everyone can enjoy them. If you've got any you'd like to share, just drop me an email at lee@judder.org or give me a prod on FaceBook and I'll sort it out - the more the merrier!

Judder returns to its regular slot of 2nd Friday of the month from now on - your next chance to Judder will be on 11th July. it may be a while to wait but what better way to pass the hours than working on a Victorian Steampunk costume? Our theme seems to have half of you frothing with excitement and the other half confused... so what is Steampunk? Well, think of Jules Verne, H G Wells' Time Machine, mad inventors, corsets, top-hats, goggles and valve-powered ray-guns! If you're still stuck, have a look at www.brassgoggles.co.uk for a few ideas. Joining us on the decks will be guest DJ sistercarrion who we understand is a bit fond of the Steampunk herself!

Now a bit of stop-press news - I will be playing at Fabric in London next Wednesday, July 9th alongside Scratch Perverts & John B! It's an exclusive ball event, but friends & family of the Judder posse are all welcome - you cn get tickets via facebook or by emailing
graduation-ball@rca.ac.uk - I'm well excited, and hopefully you can come along and give me a bit of moral support!

One final bit of exciting news - we will soon be sorting out second-edition Judder merchandise! We're hoping to hit you with a bunch of Judder t-shirts, hoodies, vests and even eco-friendly tote bags before the summer is done, so stay tuned and you could end up with a whole new wardrobe as well as an invite to the most fun night out on the planet!
