Greetings, students of Judder!

It would seem that we managed to throw a party to celebrate the last day of summer with Wonka’s Chocolate Judder on Friday, wouldn’t it?! Still, at least those who were the have lots of awesome memories to keep them warm whist we’re waiting to see if the sun comes back! Our last Judder was one of those lovely summer festival-feeling ones with loads of people enjoying the courtyard chill-out area and barbecue which is always good to see. Guest DJ Lex Synthetic played some fantastically filthy tunes for us, there were some very dapper outfits, the Wonky Bars went down well and the chocolate fountain only just survived the evening! Thanks to all of you who came down, especially those who travelled in from miles away, and a big hello to all the new faces who have been coming to the party! OK, next up is our SCHOOL SPORTS DAY JUDDER on Friday 13th August - come ready to compete in the sack race, 3-legged race or egg and spoon and see if you can win yourself a certificate or a prize! Assisting with the soundtrack to our events will be guest DJ Reverend Fox and there will be plenty of drinks promos on the night. With entry never more than a fiver and only £3 if you come in themed fancy dress, and drinks being the cheapest in town on a Friday night, this really is the perfect way to beat those recession blues!

And if you can't wait that long for your next portion of Juddery fun, then fear not! I will be guest DJ at the lovely Re/Volt event promoted by Lex Tempus at the Potion Bar in London on 31st August. I'll be joining DJs Kweilo, Madame Vendetta and glitchkrieg, laying down some filthy Judder flavoured tunes & spreading the Judder fun virus! And what's better still is that it's free! We’re lining up some amazing acts for the forthcoming months, but one I couldn’t keep under my hat any longer is the guests for my special *cough*0th birthday - on 8th Ocrober, we will be joined by not one but *two* special guest DJs (mostly so I can spend more time at the bar celebrating..!) - Judder stalwart M B Lanyon will be dropping his filthy beats all over you, and we have a return visit from the mighty Martin Atkins of Pig, PiL, and Nine Inch Nails infamy, playing music that you simply won’t hear anywhere else! His last visit to Judder was one of my all-time highlights, and I really can’t wait for this one!

Ooh, just one more thing before I head off - for those of you on Spotify, Judder regular Syk Nyk has been compiling playlists to get you in the mood for Judder, and also to reflect what was played on the night. Why not pop over and give them a listen? The perfect way to fill those long gaps before your next blast of Juddery madness!:
